Welcome back to another great year at your Chantilly High School!

The PTSA is here to help you and teachers raise and educate teenagers and prepare them for adulthood. By joining the PTSA you help raise educational standards and ensure that your student succeeds.

We hope our "One Form, One Check" will make it simpler for you to join the PTSA, order a directory and make donations. Use the volunteer form to tell us how you'd like to help. As members. please review the proposed PTSA budget and legislative ballot and cast your votes. Return forms and ballots via your student's 1st period teacher or mail them to:

Chantilly High School PTSA
4201 Stringfellow Road
Chantilly, VA 20151

This web site has information about PTSA activities, including meeting notices, newsletters, All Night Grad Party info, volunteer opportunities, Reflections program winners and legislative items. Forms, ballots and surveys are also available for downloading. Watch for program announcements on a variety of issues, including teen parenting, Fairfax County School policies, and town halls meetings with local elected officials.

There are many ways you can help, and you can choose the manner that best fits your lifestyle. Perhaps you could tutor students Saturday mornings with the STEP program; proctor SAT, AP, or SOL tests; cook a special dish for the teacher luncheon; or help with a PTSA sponsored program like Reflections. Find a way that works for you - you'll be rewarded by knowing you make a difference.

It's important that the PTSA remains vital in our community. Please contact me personally and let me know how the PTSA can better serve you, your children and their teachers. I look forward to working with you this year.

Sincerely,

Ted Velkoff

PTSA President
