All Night Grad Party

What is ANGP?

In 1987, the Northern Virginia Project Graduation created an after-graduation event model with the aim to change what had become an annual tragedy on this night - losing our youth in the deadly mix of drugs, alcohol and driving - and the model has proven to be tremendously successful. High Schools in Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun, Alexandria, and Arlington counties sponsor an ANGP for their graduates.

Here at Chantilly High School we are also committed to promoting a safe, supervised, memory-filled All Night Graduation celebration in an alcohol-free and drug-free environment. This year will the be 22nd such party at CHS and in all 21 preceding years there have been NO ACCIDENTS or DEATHS attributed to drugs or alcohol on graduation night.

 

Volunteer opportunities for parents/guardians of ALL grade levels

As you can imagine this party is an enormous undertaking, involving more than 200 volunteers. We encourage and invite the parents/guardians of students from ALL grade levels to get involved in the planning and/or volunteer at the party. WHY - you ask? Isn't it just for seniors' parents? Simply - because when all of the ANGP committee members are senior parents, they graduate with their graduates! And all your valuable experience graduates with them! Come be a part of a rewarding and fun experience and we promise you that when the time comes for your student's ANGP you will be ready! And also, we need underclassman parents to set-up while parents of graduating seniors are at Graduation!

 

How Can You Volunteer To Help the PTSA?

The All Night Grad Party (ANGP) is a drug-free/alcohol-free all-night celebration that provides a safe haven for graduates to celebrate this spectacular milestone in their lives. If you know anyone who has graduated in the last 12 years, ask them and they will tell you what an AWESOME party it is!

• Casino Games (that we’re sure you’ve heard all about!)
• Carnival Games & Activities
• Caricatures
• DJ & Dancing
• Food (and LOTS of it!)
• Door Prizes & the Prize Store (where you can cash in your casino winnings!)
…plus a few other surprises – but you’ll have to attend the party to find out!

Reservations are on sale now! The ANGP Committee will be holding numerous fundraising activities throughout the year and will be seeking donations from the community, but in order to make commitments to our vendors that require down payments and for our prize committee to take advantage of sales throughout the year, we need the funds from reservations to s=tart coming in now. ANd by purchasing your reservation now, you can take advantage of a lower price. The funds to support the ANGP come from your reservation.
